Model John Abraham stars as Kabir Lal, an alcoholic, self-destructive lawyer whose career is on a downward slope. When he meets the beautiful Sonia Khanna (Bipasha Basu, also a model), he sees his chance for redemption, and the two begin a steamy affair. Sonia, however, is married to a middle-aged industrialist (Gulshan Grover), which presents an obstacle to his happiness. Kabir agrees to a dangerous plot to get rid of the husband, seduced by his lover`s charms, but the question soon presents itself: do Sonia`s lofty ambitions truly include Kabir? Atmospheric and intense, this release is a steamy, erotic noir that breaks many Bollywood conventions.
